Welcome to your strategic basecamp for outdoor storytelling
Here at Basecamp Storylab, I create long-form stories that connect purpose, people and peaks. I help outdoor brands and mountain organizations build meaningful narratives and lasting brand memory.
What I do
Long-form editorial stories for outdoor players that want more than noise
Why long-form, why now?
We live in a world of endless short-form content—snackable posts, fleeting trends, and scrollable moments that are here one day and forgotten the next. In this constant stream of noise, it’s getting harder for outdoor brands to say something that truly lands, resonates, and stays.
The counterpoint
Basecamp Storylab is built on a different pace. I focus on long-form editorial narratives that go beyond quick hits and hero shots: in-depth stories, brand narratives, user journeys, manifestos, and brand books that give your audience something to return to, remember, and share.
Value proposition
I craft long-form editorial content that builds lasting brand memory. Together, we create stories that add meaning to your products, bring your purpose to life, and connect your brand with the people who move through the mountains with you.
Who it’s for
This work is for brands and organizations that are not built on product performance alone, but on purpose, people, and place. For teams that want to move beyond technical specs and into meaningful narratives that speak to their communities.

Depending on your audience and editorial needs, I write in both English and French.
What I believe in

- The mountains are often framed in superlatives. That language has its place, but it doesn’t capture the full truth.
- I believe the best outdoor stories aren’t about conquering the highest peaks, climbing the hardest walls, or walking the steepest trails—they’re about what makes the mountain experience transformative. About how it shapes people, communities, and the way we choose to move through the world.
- Through long-form storytelling, I help brands articulate those deeper layers: experiences instead of just exploits, connection instead of comparison, progression instead of pure performance.
Who I am
I’m a mountain storyteller and long-form writer, grounded in real practice. Mountaineering, climbing, and hiking are not just topics I write about—they’re part of my life and the way I understand the world.
When I’m not writing, you’ll find me on mountain lines—literally. Time in the alpine, on rock, and on trails feeds my perspective, sharpens my eye for detail, and helps me stay aligned with the people and environments I write about.
I’m not just a consultant who speaks the language of the outdoor industry. I’m a practitioner and a storyteller who cares about how stories land with real people in real places. That’s the lens I bring to every project.
