Basecamp Storylab is built on a simple belief: the stories we tell about the mountains should be as rich, inclusive, and meaningful as the experiences we have out there.

These values guide how I write, who I work with, and the kind of narratives we build together.

Yes, the mountains can be about pushing limits—but they’re also about learning, slowing down, finding connection, and discovering new perspectives. I’m interested in stories that don’t stop at records or difficulty grades, but explore what those moments mean to the people who live them. Whether in English or French, I help brands articulate these deeper narratives through long-form editorial content that lasts: meaningful stories about powerful experiences, the kind of stories that will be remembered.

I see the mountains as a space where individuals and collectives can grow—each at their own pace, in their own way. I partner with outdoor brands and organizations that share this vision: that the mountain is not just a backdrop for performance, but a place to experiment, learn, and connect. These are brands that value substance over hype, and understand that authentic storytelling requires time, attention, and craft.

I care about stories that open doors rather than close them. Stories that invite more people into the mountain space—through shared inspiration, accessible narratives, and a sense of welcome rather than judgment. I’m drawn to brands and projects that want to reach beyond their current circles, to inspire new publics to join, explore, and find their own place on the map. Together, we can craft narratives that extend a hand, show the way, and reflect the diversity of people who belong in the outdoors.
